SPECIAL NEEDS FOR HANDICAPPED DOGS
In 2001, a website was created to offer products to pet parents who have a disabled dog, one that has been injured, or just getting old and having a hard time moving around as they were once able to do.  Dog wheelchairs are available to allow them some independence, not like they had before, but can have some mobility to walk and believe it or not, run.
During the lifetime of a dog, age can become stressful and painful in moving their legs and hips brought on by some deterioration of their body. Just the thought of wheelchairs for dogs is so exiting, and absolutely amazing. Pain involving joints in areas that will not allow them to walk properly, perhaps not at all, and will not be able to climb stairs, or to participate in their pet families functions, is now affordable in selecting a dog wheeelchair that will make a difference. This is a very sad situation to handle, not only for your dog, but for the pet family as well. Handicapped wheelchairs for dogs can help control hip problems which are usually caused by arthritis, hip dysplasia, and spinal cord injuries.

These are the main problems in limiting the function of the dog’s hips and legs, but a severe accident, or loss of limbs will benefit from the use of a dog wheelchair. Handicapped dogs will overcome the loss of one leg and still be able to walk on their other three legs, but if two legs have been damaged preventing the dog to walk, that will become evident. Worry, fear, concern, and scared of what the outcome may be, can now be avoidable by using dog wheelchairs. So many wonderful pets have been put down because of problems such as these. Arthritis is painful for your dog, but there is medication that will help in relieving that problem, and perhaps purchasing a small orthopedic bed will be a way in offering comfort. Your dog will be able to walk better with less pain than before using a dog wheelchair. Consider the alternative.
